Bismuth

Bismuth, ⁸³Bi on your trusty periodic table, is a chemical element. It is a rare, brittle metal found in deposits around the world, with a silvery-white colour when freshly smelted. Surface oxidation under heat can give it the vividly iridescent appearance that you see here. Bismuth is both the most diamagnetic element and one of the least thermally conductive metals known. It has a low melting point, expands when it freezes (like water!) and repels magnets.

While not a true crystal structure, Bismuth can form beautiful, stair-stepped formations often grown in labs for their aesthetic appeal. These formations are what's commonly sold as "Bismuth crystals."

Believed to stimulate energy and drive, it's associated with achieving goals, especially in collaborative settings. Some claim that it promotes introspection and spiritual connection, aiding exploration of the subconscious and facilitating personal transformation.
Some consider it a powerful transformation tool, facilitating astral travel and journeys into the spirit realm.

Bismuth's association with overcoming blocks and promoting focus makes it a popular choice for meditation. Those seeking to break free from isolation or loneliness may also find solace in its energy.
