Fluorite
Fluorite, also known as fluorspar, is a stunning mineral prized by both geologists and gemstone enthusiasts. Its beauty lies in its incredible range of colours, including purple, green, blue, yellow, and even multicoloured combinations, often referred to as Rainbow or Candy Fluorite. This vibrant display is due to impurities and trace elements incorporated during crystal formation. Fluorite forms in cubic or octahedral shapes and is a relatively common mineral found worldwide in hydrothermal veins, metamorphic rocks, and around limestone deposits.
Fluorite boasts a rich history of spiritual significance. Often called the "Genius Stone," it's believed to enhance mental clarity, focus, and concentration. People use it to improve memory, learning, and critical thinking skills. Fluorite is also associated with the crown and third eye chakras, which are believed to govern spiritual awareness and intuition. Some believe it can help us access hidden knowledge, promote creativity, and open our minds to new ideas.
