Pink Amethyst

Pink Amethyst is a variety of quartz, sharing the same chemical formula (SiO2) as its more common purple cousin. Its blush color comes from trace amounts of iron and manganese. Like other Amethyst, it forms in volcanic cavities and hydrothermal veins. While Amethyst deposits are found worldwide, Pink Amethyst is considered rarer.
